River Lodge is a quaint and historic cottage situated about 1 mile from Throwley Hall Farm, alongside the River Manifold.

The cottage was built in 1840 and has been tastefully restored, with oak used for much of the new woodwork and retaining features such as stone mullioned windows and beamed ceilings.

The downstairs facilities include:

• A fully fitted luxury kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge (freezer in utility room), dishwasher, washing machine plus tumble dryer.
• An attractive dining area with tiled floor
• A well furnished lounge, with colour TV and video
• Fitted carpets (except in the kitchen, bathroom, shower room and utility room)
• Central heating
• Shower and toilet downstairs

Upstairs there are two bedrooms - the upstairs rooms comprise:

• One double bedroom
• One family bedroom, with three single beds, two of which zip together to make a king-sized double. This room has a beamed ceiling
• Bathroom and toilet upstairs

Outside there is an attractive and spacious garden sloping down to the River Manifold.

Linen and towels are included in the price.

Dogs are allowed - an extra £5 each. This is a sheep farming area and dogs must be kept on leads.

A 25% deposit is required when booking.
